Episode 43: Alison Pure-Slovin-Simon Wiesenthal Center

This week on, “Inside the Skev,” we sit down with Alison Pure Slovin. The Simon Wiesenthal Center is a global human rights organization researching the Holocaust and hate in a historic and contemporary context. The Center confronts anti-Semitism, hate and terrorism, promotes human rights and dignity, stands with Israel, defends the safety of Jews worldwide, and teaches the lessons of the Holocaust for future generations. Alison is the Midwest Director for the Center. We discuss their mission and the local community’s response to several anti-Semitic and racist attacks that have taken place recently.

More information about the Simon Wiesenthal Center can be found http://www.wiesenthal.com/ and they can be called at 312-981-0105. The Combat Hate app that Alison mentioned can be found by clicking here.
